Job summary

AMR is hiring full-time Paramedics committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality emergency medical care to our customers. The role emphasizes leadership on scene and advanced patient treatment with defibrillators, EKGs, oxygen and IV therapy.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility, and a valid state driver’s license. BLS/ACLS are required on hire, with PALS preferred. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Paramedic certification required; Kansas certification eligibility acceptable.
• Valid State Driver's License is required.
• BLS and ACLS are required upon hire; PALS preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best course of action per Paramedic protocols.
• Operate medical equipment (defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction, IV fluids) to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to keep them informed and reassured.
