Job summary

AMR in the United States is hiring a full-time Paramedic to deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care on emergency calls and interfacility transports. You will support advanced medical procedures and lead clinical teams on scene, while communicating clearly with patients and families.

Requirements include a High School diploma or GED, Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility, State Driver’s License, BLS and ACLS at hire (PALS preferred), and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire; PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine the best action under Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids for advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Lead Paramedic on scene and manage the unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.

Education
