Job summary

AMR is seeking dedicated Paramedics to deliver compassionate, high-quality emergency medical care on a full-time basis. You will assess calls, operate advanced medical equipment, and lead on-scene management while driving ambulances on 911 responses.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, Kansas Paramedic certification or eligibility, a valid state driver’s license, and BLS/ACLS on hire. PALS is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Kansas Paramedic certification or eligible for Kansas certification.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS and ACLS required upon hire.
• PALS is preferred, but not required.
• Driving record compliant with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
