Job summary

Altus Emergency is seeking a skilled Emergency Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide immediate, high-quality care to patients in emergency situations and collaborate with physicians and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes.

You will assess and triage patients, administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and support families. An active RN license, 2+ years in emergency nursing, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications are required. Weekend shifts may be included.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in emergency nursing.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients in emergency situations.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and medical history.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
• Maintain accurate and complete medical records.
