Job summary

Boston Board Up Services Llc in Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Service Board-Up Technician to rapidly secure fire-damaged, storm-affected, or vandalized properties. You will respond to calls, install temporary coverings, and protect occupants and assets while adhering to safety protocols.

A dependable, safety-minded professional with a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50+ lbs, and comfort on ladders is required.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Comfortable working at heights and on ladders.
Experience with basic construction tools and safety equipment preferred.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Prior experience in construction or emergency services is a plus.
DOT Medical Card (or ability to obtain within 60 days).

Responsibilities

Respond to emergency calls to board up and secure residential and commercial properties.
Install temporary protective coverings over doors, windows, and other openings.
Safely use hand and power tools to perform boarding-up tasks.
Assess damage and communicate needs and next steps to team leads and clients.
Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and inventory of materials.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company protocols.
Provide excellent customer service while on-site during emergencies.
