Job summary

Father Bill’s & MainSpring is seeking a Re-Housing Case Manager in Quincy, MA. This regular full-time hourly position centers on locating housing opportunities for guests in emergency shelter and outreach programs, with a focus on diverting from shelter and rapid re-housing.

The role requires 2-4 years of relevant social work experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field. CPR certification is required; AED/First Aid may also be required.

Responsibilities

• Advocate on behalf of program guests to help them move forward from homelessness.
• Collaborate with team to assess and redirect guests to diversion or rapid housing options.
• Help guests apply for mainstream benefits and enroll in case management programs.
• Complete intake and assessment to identify strengths, needs, barriers, and goals.
• Build relationships with landlords, housing authorities, and social service partners.
• Transport guests to housing viewings and appointments as needed.
• Maintain data-based records and prepare service outcome reports.
