Job summary

ACT-SACT in Norfolk, VA seeks an experienced digital solution engineer to rapidly develop digital workflows using non‑Microsoft low‑code platforms. You will work with process owners to turn requirements into prototypes and pilots tested with users.

Responsibilities include hands‑on development, API/data-source integration, and applying lifecycle discipline to deliver scalable prototypes ready for transition to enduring implementations.

Qualifications

• Education or 5+ years of relevant professional experience in lieu of degree in CS, IS, SWE, engineering, HCD, BPM, BIT or related field.
• Hands-on delivery of digital applications, workflows, or pilots with user testing within the last 24 months.
• Experience with non-Microsoft low-code/no-code development across at least two platforms with practical examples.

Responsibilities

• Support rapid development of digital workflow proofs of concept, prototypes, and operational pilots using non‑Microsoft low‑code platforms.
• Collaborate with process owners and analysts to understand workflows, data requirements, and pain points for digital transformation.
• Document current and desired workflows detailing user roles, states, decisions, and data exchanges to enable testing and iteration.
• Translate operational needs into MVP requirements that can be rapidly developed and tested with representative users.
