Job summary

Spektrum is seeking a hands-on digital workflow developer to support CAPDEV in Allied Command Transformation programs. You will rapidly design, prototype, test, and pilot workflow solutions using approved platforms, working directly with process owners and operational users to capture requirements and prove concepts.

This role emphasizes fast delivery, data integration, and evidence-based iteration toward enduring implementation, with on-site work in Norfolk, VA, and collaboration across NATO

Qualifications

• Education or Relevant Professional Experience: University/Bachelor's degree or five years directly relevant experience in low-code/no-code, workflow automation, or rapid prototyping.
• Recent End-to-End Hands-On Digital Solution Delivery: Demonstrated hands-on development of digital applications, workflows, prototypes, or pilots in the last 24 months.
• Non‑Microsoft Low‑Code, No‑Code, or Configurable Application Development: Experience with two or more non‑Microsoft platforms in the last five years.
• Rapid Prototyping and Minimum Viable Solution Delivery: Translate requirements into testable prototypes or pilots within short timeframes.
• Business Process Discovery and Workflow Redesign: Work directly with users to understand and redesign processes for digital flows.
• Data Integration and Lightweight Technical Development: Include API integration or data exchange between systems.
• Operational Pilot, User Testing, and Iterative Improvement: Conduct user testing and iterate based on feedback.
• Lifecycle Discipline and Delivery within Constrained Environments: Apply lifecycle and deployment discipline to prototypes.
• Transition to Enterprise Development or Scaling: Prepare prototypes for ongoing development by other teams.
• Prototype Assessment and Decision Communication: Communicate results of prototypes to decision-makers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on digital workflow prototyping and citizen-developer support to digitize CAPDEV work and information flows.
• Work with process owners and users to understand workflows, data needs, and pain points for digital transformation.
• Document current and desired workflows with user roles, states, and business rules to test redesigned processes.
• Translate operational needs into MVP prototype requirements for rapid development and testing.
• Design and configure digital applications and workflows to replace manual processes.
• Configure data capture, roles, and business rules for prototype testing.
• Integrate prototypes with approved data sources via APIs or standard interfaces.
