Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to lead operations, maintenance, and support of rapid deployment radar systems.

Candidates must hold a DoW SECRET clearance (Top Secret eligibility preferred), travel up to 50%, and have 4+ years of radar-related experience.

Qualifications

• Current or ability to obtain a DoW SECRET Clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent military/technical training in radio frequency, electronics, or radars.
• Travel – up to 50%.
• Four (4) years of relevant experience or combined education performing administration, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and employment of Counter Fire Target Acquisition or Ground/Air Defense radar systems, or similar systems.
• Flexibility to travel overseas as required.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and administer expeditionary radar systems.
• Inspect, service, and repair systems up to the depot level.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and operating system issues.
• Install, initialize, and operate equipment at domestic and international work locations.
• Assist in transitioning capabilities to permanent international sites or demobilizing and redeploying equipment.
• Provide subject matter expert analysis for program equipment challenges.
• Document and track support calls using ticketing systems.
