Freedom Firearms LLC in Stroudsburg, PA is seeking a Range Operations & Sales Specialist to deliver exceptional customer service, manage retail sales, and run day-to-day range operations.

You will help customers with firearms and accessories, perform Range Safety Officer duties as needed, handle transactions, and maintain a clean, organized facility while following policies.

Position Summary

The Range Operations & Sales Specialist is a cross-functional position combining customer service, retail sales, firearms and range knowledge, and day-to-day range operations.

We are looking for someone who can provide excellent customer service and confidently assist with sales while also being capable and willing to perform Range Safety Officer duties when needed. This position is well suited to someone who takes initiative, learns quickly, pays attention to details, and remains productive without requiring constant direction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide professional and knowledgeable customer service.
• Assist customers with firearms, accessories, range services, memberships, rentals, and related purchases.
• Identify customer needs and make appropriate product recommendations.
• Operate point-of-sale and other business computer systems accurately.
• Process transactions, payments, memberships, rentals, and other customer activities.
• Complete required paperwork and records carefully and accurately.
• Assist with inventory, receiving, stocking, pricing, merchandising, and product organization.
• Maintain familiarity with company products, services, policies, promotions, and range operations.
• Perform Range Safety Officer responsibilities when assigned or operationally necessary.
• Monitor firearm safety and immediately address unsafe behavior.
• Explain and enforce company and range policies professionally.
• Handle customer concerns and recognize when management involvement is appropriate.
• Maintain clean, organized, stocked, and professional customer and employee areas.
• Remain productive during slower periods without requiring continuous task assignment.
• Perform cleaning, restocking, trash removal, and routine facility-upkeep responsibilities.
• Assist coworkers and other areas of the business as operational needs require.

Qualifications & Expectations

• Firearms experience and a strong understanding of firearm safety.
• Ability and willingness to perform Range Safety Officer duties when required.
• NRA Range Safety Officer certification or willingness and ability to obtain required certification.
• Strong customer-service and interpersonal skills.
• Sales ability or demonstrated potential to become an effective salesperson.
• Comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversations.
• Comfortable enforcing rules and addressing unsafe behavior.
• Intermediate computer skills and ability to learn new business software and point-of-sale systems.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when completing transactions and paperwork.
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
• Initiative and ability to remain productive without constant supervision.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to accept feedback and follow established procedures.
• Strong teamwork and professional communication.

Availability

Regular weekend availability is required, including open-to-close availability on Saturdays. Applicants must also maintain availability through closing on at least two additional days per week. Holiday availability may be required when the business is open.
