Job summary

Bering-Alaka'ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Electronic Technician C - Range Communications to support PMRF operations in Kekaha, Kauai. The role covers maintaining voice, video and data telecom systems, troubleshooting, calibration and installation of networking components and cabling.

Responsibilities include field and shop work, COMSEC handling, and occasional travel across Hawaii including at-sea assignments. Requires strong electronics background and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years in telecommunications maintenance or related field.
• Experience operating voice, video and data systems with networking equipment.
• Ability to read schematics and use test equipment for troubleshooting.
• Soldering certification or equivalent training required; DOD 8570.01-M certification within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, monitor and maintain Range Operations systems and equipment.
• Perform periodic inspections and maintenance per procedures and OEM guidelines.
• Troubleshoot/repair systems using schematics and test equipment.
• Install, calibrate and test new systems and equipment; conduct acceptance tests.
• Perform COMSEC functions and handle cryptographic materials as required.
• Travel to remote sites and at-sea assignments; occasional extended periods away.
