Job summary

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is seeking an entry-level Network Engineer I for the Range Network at Kekaha, Hawai'i. You will support classified and unclassified PMRF mission networks, configuring routers, switches, firewalls, and related devices in line with DoD/DoN/PMRF policy and STIG requirements.

You will perform system-wide troubleshooting, help maintain security posture, and document network changes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer science, MIS, or related field (Years of directly related work experience may be substituted).
• Cisco CCNA or greater and DOD 8570.1M: IAT Level II certification required prior to start.
• DOD 8570.1M: IAT Level II
• CCNA or CCNP
• Palo Alto certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and configures network hardware and software for classified and unclassified infrastructures (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
• Performs Cyber Security tasks using DISA STIGS, SCAP, SRR scripts, and ACAS/Nessus.
• Maintains 100% network device compliance with DoD IAVM programs and assists in POA&M for non-compliant devices.
• Configures and maintains network management platforms and analyzes audits/logs for troubleshooting.
• Prepares status reports and technical procedures for management and customers.
• Coordinates with management and customers to ensure mutual awareness of network development and security posture.
