Job summary

WJP Ranch is seeking a Ranch Superintendent to lead the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high standards across livestock, facilities, and equipment. You will own planning, execution, and team development while coordinating with contractors, vendors, and service providers.

The role requires hands-on leadership, proactive problem solving, and a strong ownership mentality to keep work moving forward on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in ranch management, agriculture, or large-property operations.
• Demonstrated experience leading personnel, contractors, or field operations.
• Strong working knowledge of property maintenance, land management, livestock, equipment, and repair operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the ranch and serve as primary point of accountability.
• Establish daily, weekly, seasonal, and long-range priorities across ranch operations and improvements.
• Direct ranch personnel, contractors, vendors, and service providers with clear expectations and follow-through.
• Regularly assess property conditions and proactively resolve issues before they impact operations.
• Maintain safety, quality, and ownership mindset across the team.
• Coordinate veterinary and specialized livestock services as needed.
