Foster Farms in Riverdale, CA is hiring a Ranch Laborer for Garfield 1 Ranch (Shift Varies). This on-site, full-time role pays $17.50 per hour, with an extra $1.00/hour after 7pm and $2.00/hour between 12am–4:59am.

Qualifications

• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Good mathematical and organizational skills.
• Able to lift and move 75 pounds.
• Mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication (Basic English).
• Ability to work overtime, evenings, holidays and weekends.
• Willing to work at other ranches as needed.
• Follow company standards and policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in day-to-day ranch operations and fryers, including feeding and sanitation.
• Support grow-out program: temperatures, ventilation, vaccination, and medications.
• Coordinate feed deliveries and maintain feed/fuel inventories.
• Maintain facilities and equipment for optimal usage and appearance.
• Maintain sanitation conditions and disease protection procedures.
• Uphold safety, animal welfare and biosecurity; report issues to Ranch Manager or Field Supervisor.
