Zion Mountain Ranch, an on-site hospitality destination near Zion National Park, is seeking an entry-level Cook to assist in basic food preparation and kitchen support across Cordwood Restaurant and The Get Outpost Cafe. The role emphasizes learning, proper food handling, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates are eager to develop culinary skills, follow recipes, and maintain cleanliness while providing friendly guest service.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position; culinary school or prior kitchen experience is a plus.
• Must possess Utah Food Handlers Certification.
• Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation and cooking under supervision.
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines for all menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations and equipment.
• Assist with dishwashing, kitchen cleanup, and inventory.]
• Assist in cafe duties: deliver guest service, answer questions, and prepare ingredients and pizzas as required.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and ensure proper food handling.
