Job description

We are seeking an experienced RAN Virtualization OA&M Engineer to support next-generation 4G/5G wireless network management solutions, virtualization initiatives, and commercial network deployments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead OAMP/FCAPS subsystem integration and troubleshooting for wireless networks.
• Provide Tier 3 support for EMS/NMS application issues and work closely with R&D teams to drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Support introduction of new 4G/5G RAN Network Management features and virtualized network solutions.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system and design requirements.
• Author and implement EMS/NMS/Network Element software upgrade MOPs.
• Support commercial network deployments, product rollouts, and customer acceptance activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Sales, Product Management, and R&D.
• Drive technical discussions with wireless carriers and customer leadership teams.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of OAMP/FCAPS/OSS experience supporting EMS/NMS and RAN network elements.
• Experience with RAN virtualization, NFV, vCU/vDU, and virtualized network environments.
• Strong troubleshooting experience with commercial NMS/EMS platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with EMS/NMS software upgrades and MOP development.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux environments and scripting tools (Shell, Perl, TCL).
• Knowledge of SNMP, TNM protocols, OSS/NMS interfaces, Netconf, YANG models, and REST APIs.
• Strong understanding of wireless network architecture, 3GPP standards, Core and RAN technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• OpenStack and Kubernetes experience.
• Knowledge of ETSI MANO, ONAP, OASIS TOSCA, and orchestration frameworks.
• Experience with virtualization technologies including SR-IOV, VirtIO, VLANs, SAN/NAS/iSCSI storage.
• High Availability (HA) and redundancy system experience.
• Experience supporting Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, or major wireless carrier environments.
• Strong presentation, customer-facing, and technical leadership skills.
