Job summary

Samsung Electronics Perú is seeking an Engineer III in System Structure Design for Plano, TX to drive LTE/5G performance improvements. The role involves evaluating KPIs, leading troubleshooting across 4G/5G products, and coordinating with Samsung HQ and customer teams to ensure timely issue resolution.

You will conduct deep-dive sessions on air interface technologies, author proposals, and collaborate on design requirements, with travel up to 10% for deployments and meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressive engineering experience required.
• deep knowledge of 4G/5G call processing, RRC, S1-MME, S1-U, X2, RLC, MAC, PHY.
• Experience with multi-vendor deployments and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Improve LTE/5G network performance by KPI trend analysis and trials.
• Troubleshoot 4G/5G issues to meet predefined SLAs across deployments.
• Lead technical discussions with customer groups and cross-functional teams.
• Develop product and feature requirements and performance analyses.
