Job summary

Samsung Electronics Perú seeks an experienced engineer to drive continuous LTE RAN performance improvements and troubleshoot 4G/5G deployments. You will analyze KPIs, run performance trials, and resolve issues within predefined SLAs while coordinating with Samsung HQ and customer teams.

Responsibilities include detailing feature requirements, leading technical discussions, and delivering reports on call-processing features and air interface technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in engineering fields.
  • Experience in 4G/5G Call Processing including RRC, S1-MME, S1-U, X2, RLC, MAC, PHY protocols.
  • Experience with RF antenna technologies, Massive MIMO, LTE-NR interworking & co-existence, and 5G Numerologies.

Responsibilities

  • Improve LTE RAN network performance by evaluating and trending KPI and performance trials.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in Samsung 4G/5G products to meet SLA commitments.
  • Lead technical discussions with customer groups and collaborate with HQ and cross-functional teams.
  • Develop product and feature requirements, perform deep-dive sessions on call-processing features, and analyze performance.
