Job summary

GCS is seeking an Operations Engineer to support a nationwide 5G RAN deployment. This on-site role focuses on Tier II diagnostics, outage restoration, and mentoring Tier I NOC technicians.

Responsibilities include on-site support for 5G Core, RAN, and Transport; monitoring alarms; and documenting incidents. Candidates should be Atlanta-based or willing to relocate, with OSHA 10 and RF awareness. Samsung 5G certification preferred.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Transport troubleshooting (Backhaul/Fronthaul).
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to the Atlanta Market.
  • OSHA 10 Certified and RF Awareness required.
  • Samsung Wireless 5G Deployment Certification highly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of 5G RAN architecture and ORAN functions.
  • Experience with CIQ, network diagrams, call flows, and deployment MOPs.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage high-stress situations.
  • Familiarity with ticket tracking systems and network monitoring tools.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Provide incident reviews and root cause analysis to leadership.

We are seeking a skilled Operations Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on remote network surveillance and troubleshooting for a nationwide 5G RAN deployment. This is an on-site role supporting Tier II diagnostics, outage restoration, and mentoring Tier I NOC technicians.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site operational support for 5G Core, RAN, and Transport systems.
