Job summary

DHL Express is hiring a Ramp Supervisor to lead the Hub operations, ensuring safe and efficient handling of cargo from arrival to departure. The role requires guiding teams, enforcing quality and safety standards, and coordinating with flight control, maintenance, and customs.

The candidate must have high school or GED with supervisory experience; a BS/BA is a plus. Flexibility for day/night shifts, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in air cargo handling and warehouse operations.
• Strong supervisory experience and people leadership.
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Hub operational activities to ensure safe, timely, cost-effective processing of shipments.
• Implement and direct quality control for all operational areas.
• Ensure compliance with DHL policies, procedures and standards.
• Maintain records for hub operations including volume, damages and safety incidents.
• Coordinate with control rooms, maintenance, facilities and customs to enable efficient hub operations.
• Oversee loading/unloading of trucks, air containers, and airline pallets.
• Supervise 15–25 staff; responsible for hiring, coaching and development.
