Job summary

DHL Express CVG Hub is seeking a capable Operations Lead to oversee the outbound and inbound cargo flow within the hub, ensuring processes meet customer and internal requirements in a safe, organized manner.

In this role you will establish and enforce policies, train and supervise staff, and coordinate with multiple departments to maintain efficient package handling and accurate documentation. A flexible shift is required and prior unload/primary/smalls knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with training within the Unloads, Primary and Smalls area.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use.
• Good research skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts.
• Knowledge of unloads/primary/smalls preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives and process packages/freight within the hub.
• Issues documents verifying the training process to applicable department(s).
• Ensures training of each employee meets company standards.
• Works with new hires and tracks progress.
• Ability to multi-task and direct multiple employees.
• Identifies and segregates non-conforming and dangerous goods cargo.
