Job summary

Unifi Aviation, LLC in Des Moines, IA, is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to lead a ramp team, marshal aircraft, load and unload baggage, and operate ramp equipment. Responsibilities include wing walker duties, de‑ice operations, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

This full‑time position requires a high school diploma, 18+ years of age, credentials as per airport/state requirements, and a valid driver’s license. Rotating shifts and outdoor work in all weather are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent education.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead a ramp team in ramp service duties.
• Marshal the aircraft on the ramp for arriving, departing and towed aircraft.
• Perform wing walker duties to protect aircraft wing from equipment in the path of pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage and company material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment like bag tugs, belt loaders, tow tractors and servicing vehicles.
• May perform cabin service duties including cleaning and restocking.
• Promote and adhere to Safety, Anti-Harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity policies.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill and capabilities.
