PrimeFlight Aviation Services in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Ramp Lead to oversee airport ramp operations, guide aircraft movement, and ensure safe handling of baggage and cargo. You will coordinate with flight crews and ground staff to support timely turnarounds.

The role requires strong teamwork, safety awareness, and the ability to train ramp personnel, perform inspections, and maintain accurate records. Flexible shifts including nights and weekends are common in this 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 or older.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking).
• At least 1 year of ramp operations or similar aviation role.
• Ability to use IPads/Tablets and other devices.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Eligible for required credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs).
• Shift flexibility including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsabilités

• Guide inbound/outbound aircraft to gates safely.
• Coordinate with flight crews and ground staff for turnarounds.
• Inspect ramp area and equipment for safety.
• Troubleshoot operational issues as needed.
• Train ramp staff on safety and best practices.
• Maintain records of ramp activities and incidents.
• Ensure DOT and airport vehicle safety compliance.
• Lift, unload, load baggage and cargo.
• Operate heavy ground equipment (tugs, carts, loaders).
• Execute daily quality checks on equipment.
