Job summary

PrimeFlightAviation Services, Inc. at Richmond International Airport (RIC) is seeking a Ramp Supervisor to lead a team of ramp agents, ensuring safe, efficient handling of aircraft on the ground and timely turnarounds.

You will train staff, coordinate with flight crews, maintain DOT safety standards, and uphold PrimeFlight's commitment to service and professionalism. This role demands quick decision-making, strong communication, and a proactive safety mindset, with eligibility for varied shifts

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in ramp operations or a related aviation field.
• Proven supervisory or leadership experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Must communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the ramp team operations, including aircraft loading and unloading.
• Coordinate ramp activities to ensure timely turnaround of flights.
• Train and mentor ramp team members on procedures and safety.
• Monitor compliance with airline and airport regulations.
• Maintain proper communication between ramp team, flight crew and ground operations.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of ground support equipment.
