Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is hiring Ramp Agents to load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail on aircraft and guide planes to gates. You will ensure secure handling and assist with ground operations in a safety-conscious, fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., with a valid driver’s license and English proficiency. Flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays is required as part of a 24/7 schedule.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of IPads/Tablets, Computers and Mobile Devices.
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable).
• Aircraft ground operations may require shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
• Operate ground support equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts).
• Read and analyze load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Follow safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying weather conditions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Inspect equipment and report issues.
• Follow standard ramp procedures and adapt to schedule changes.
