Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Spokane is seeking a full-time Ramp Agent to support on-time flight operations by loading and unloading baggage and cargo, guiding aircraft to gates, and maintaining detailed load records.

You will operate motorized equipment, read loading manifests, and comply with safety and security policies while working outdoors in all weather conditions. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to proficiently speak, read, and write in English.
• Must have a high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.
• Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Work is outdoors and in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required Airports and Custom badges/seals.

Responsibilities

• Move baggage and cargo to and from aircraft and between aircraft, terminals and facilities.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Read and interpret weight and balance loading instructions and manifests.
• Maintain detailed records of shipped goods and routing tags.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
