Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Hayden, CO is seeking a full-time Ramp Agent to help flights operate on time by handling cargo, baggage and ground operations. You will follow safety procedures and read loading manifests to ensure proper weight distribution.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, standing outdoors in all weather, and flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. A high school diploma or GED is required and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no violations in past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Comfortably and continuously lift/move 70 lbs. of cargo and baggage on and off aircraft and transport it between aircraft, airport terminals and air cargo facilities.
• Frequent bending, stretching, pushing/pulling, stacking and kneeling in small, confined locations.
• Operate motorized equipment.
• Read and interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, loading manifests, and baggage/cargo routing tags.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
