Job summary

Menzies Aviation is hiring a full-time Ramp Agent in Boise, ID. You will help flights stay on schedule by handling baggage and cargo, guiding aircraft, and maintaining loading accuracy on the ramp.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, operating ramp equipment, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Applicants must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, pass pre-employment screenings, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have high school diploma, GED or six months prior ramp agent work experience.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing, including a drug test.
• Capable of safely lifting up to 70 lbs. continuously.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no violations in past 5 years.
• Must be available to work variable shifts, including overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Move cargo and baggage to/from aircraft and between locations.
• Operate motorized equipment used on the ramp.
• Read and interpret weight balances, hazard labels, and loading manifests.
• Maintain accurate records of loaded shipments and flights.
