Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services in Miami is seeking a Ramp Agent to load/unload baggage, cargo and mail, marshal aircraft, and support ground operations on busy ramp teams.

You will operate ground service equipment, read load sheets, follow safety protocols, and adapt to changing flight schedules in a fast-paced, team-focused environment. 18+, valid driver's license, English proficiency, and ability to pass background checks required.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Pass a background check and drug screen.
• Eligibility to acquire needed credentials (FAA, RAIC, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable).
• Airlines are 24/7, so shifts including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Repetitive loading and unloading of baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy.
• Operate ground service equipment such as pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, and baggage carts.
• Read and analyze aircraft load sheets, checked baggage tags, and cargo labels.
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates.
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground.
• Adhere to safety protocols and airline regulations.
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Lift heavy objects in varying conditions.
• Communicate with team members and airline personnel.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report issues.
• Follow standard ramp operating procedures.
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities.
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
