Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services Inc. is seeking a Ramp Agent to load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail from aircraft, guiding aircraft to gates and supporting ground operations. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced airport setting.

The position requires 18+ years old, US work eligibility, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Flexible shifts including nights and weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid state-issued driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Able to access information on print and electronic devices (IPads/Tablets, computers, mobile devices)
• Pass a background check and drug screen
• Credential eligibility (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs as applicable)
• Willing to work varying shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Load and unload baggage, cargo, and mail onto aircraft with accuracy
• Operate ground service equipment (pushbacks, tugs, belt loaders, baggage carts)
• Read and analyze load sheets, baggage tags, and cargo labels
• Marshalling aircraft to and from gates
• Ensure safe movement of aircraft on the ground
• Follow safety protocols and airline regulations
• Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Perform routine inspections of equipment and report issues
• Adapt to changing flight schedules and priorities
• Exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned
