JINYA Ramen Bar is seeking a capable Line Cook to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will craft ramen bowls and small plates with precision, following our established recipes and plating standards.

We value cooks who can operate ramen boilers, fryers, and grills safely while maintaining high quality and cleanliness. This role offers full-time and part-time opportunities in a team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience preferred (ramen or high-volume experience a plus).
• Proficiency with ramen boilers, fryers, and grill tops.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Understanding of food safety standards and sanitation.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and execute ramen and tapas items according to JINYA corporate recipes and plating standards.
• Operate and maintain ramen boilers, deep fryers, grill tops, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure proper cook times, temperatures, and portion control.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked workstations at all times.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department guidelines.
• Properly label, date, and rotate products using FIFO standards.
• Monitor product quality and communicate issues to management immediately.
• Maintain awareness of ticket times and kitchen flow during peak service.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work collaboratively with BOH team members to ensure smooth service.
• Follow corporate uniform and appearance standards.
