Job summary

Woodgrain is seeking a Regional Sales Manager to lead a field sales team in Raleigh, NC. The role focuses on driving profitable sales growth, coaching reps, and expanding market share within a defined territory.

You will guide the team in prospecting new accounts, maintaining existing relationships, and coaching through the sales process to meet annual budgets and margins. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field is preferred with at least 2 years of management related experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Drives for results and performance, planning stretch goals and achieving revenue and gross margin targets.
• Coaches and develops a sales team; conducts monthly 1-on-1s and identifies development needs.
• Leads 5-stage sales process, manages opportunity pipeline with urgency and accountability.
• Collaborates with national accounts, operations, supply chain, and product managers to align offerings and trends.
• Oversees relationships with key accounts and external partners; travels 50–60% including overnight stays.
