Job summary

AKC Canine Health Foundation Inc. is seeking a Grants & Database Specialist to safeguard data integrity and accessibility across grant and donor systems, supporting research funding and organizational operations.

You will manage and audit databases, assist with grant reviews and reporting, maintain donor records, develop reports, and provide data for fundraising campaigns and communications, in a hybrid Raleigh office.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain integrated grant and donor databases for accurate information across systems.
• Support grant application, review, and award management processes.
• Assist grantee reporting, expenditures, and follow-up, track deadlines.
• Oversee data integrity with audits and reconciliations.
• Process and maintain gift and donor records.
• Develop queries, reports, and data exports for decisions and fundraising.
• Provide data for fundraising campaigns, communications, events, and reports.
• Support online fundraising systems and data capture.
• Monitor workflows and implement best practices for data management.
• Provide cross-functional administrative and project support, coordinate meetings, trainings, webinars.
