Job summary

Performance Contracting Group seeks a Site Safety Professional for its Raleigh, NC operations. You will promote safe work practices, assist with the Accident Prevention Plan, and ensure timely safety reporting on site and at the branch.

The role requires 2–3 years in construction safety, OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications, and the ability to work 50–60 hour weeks with 80% field time in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must have 2–3 years of experience in construction safety.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 510 certifications.
• Fall Protection and Confined Space Training.
• Willingness to work 50–60 hour weeks and spend 80% of time in the field.

Responsibilities

• Promote safe work practices and instill an injury-free culture among site and field personnel.
• Assist with the administration of PCI’s Accident Prevention Plan, policies, and procedures on jobsites and at the branch.
• Ensure safety reports and documentation are submitted on time.
• Collaborate with the site safety manager and field to develop and implement safety policies and procedures; monitor effectiveness.
• Investigate injuries and illnesses for the project site.
• Convey a professional and positive attitude as PCI’s safety representative.
• Create and maintain positive relationships with trades, vendors, co-workers and customers.
