Job summary

Accountable Safety Solutions in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Safety Manager with an electrical background to lead site safety for a low-voltage construction client. The role requires daily site walks, field supervision, and collaboration with management to foster a culture of safety.

The ideal candidate will implement, train, and enforce safety policies, conduct inspections, review JSAs, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EHS standards on active job sites in the Raleigh area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction safety experience.
• OSHA 30 and OSHA 500 certifications.
• NFPA 70E and CPR/First Aid certifications.
• Electrical experience.
• Strong safety leadership and ethics.
• Procore and MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead site-specific safety orientations.
• Ensure adherence to EHS rules on projects.
• Coordinate safety activities with the Superintendent.
• Review JSAs for planning and compliance.
• Enforce Site-Specific Safety Plan with training and inspections.
• Identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Educate crew on safety guidelines.
• Perform weekly safety audits and site inspections.
• Investigate incidents and document findings.
• Maintain safety documentation (JSAs, toolbox talks, permits).
