American Technion Society in New York Metro Region seeks a Development Database Specialist, hybrid (3 days in person). You will manage Raiser’s Edge data, perform advanced reporting, and support Engaging Networks.

Collaborate with major gifts, Gifts Administration, and other departments to leverage data for fundraising impact. The role emphasizes data hygiene, ticket management, and creating recurring reports.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience managing data analysis and reporting, preferably in RE.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, including ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret data.
• Advanced knowledge of RE, SQL, and Excel a plus.
• Ability to document policies and procedures and communicate complex technical information.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Cultural fit: collaborative, direct, and comfortable in a smaller organization.

Responsibilities

• Be the project manager for our ticketing system and project management software– ensure all tickets are responded to and completed in a timely manner.
• Own all basic Raiser’s Edge requests including updating constituent biographical information and ensuring do not mail lists are complete.
• Update email addresses in Engaging Networks to match Raiser’s Edge as needed.
• Create and implement regular mass data hygiene updates with stakeholders.
• Master Raiser’s Edge import and global change functions for bulk updates and list creation.
• Serve as the primary point person for the Development team for RE and Engaging Networks basics, including queries, reports, dashboards.
• Ensure data practices align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
• Design Raisers Edge reports, queries and exports as needed; create and distribute daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Generate donor lists for cultivation, solicitation, stewardship and marketing strategies.
• Provide data insights and analysis to support donor strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze business processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with outside agencies for report development and enhancements.
• Support gift data entry, governance and data hygiene.
