HIAS Inc. seeks a Development Data Specialist to manage Raiser's Edge NXT data, support campaigns, and ensure data integrity.

This hybrid role supports operations from Silver Spring, MD or New York, NY, with remote options for applicants outside commuting distance in eligible states. You will create queries, exports, and constituent groups, maintain coding structures, and assist with integration to third-party platforms while upholding data hygiene standards and precise reporting for Development

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of Raiser's Edge or RENXT nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience with queries, reports, exports; Crystal Reports, RENXT analytics & Power BI/Fabrice a plus.
• Strong nonprofit data hygiene knowledge including NCOA/CASS, deduplication, gift coding.
• Follow procedures while handling multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in Excel, handling large data files, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables.
• Familiarity with mail production workflows and mail house data specs preferred.
• Strong written communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Experience working with or for a Jewish organization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process and fulfill Raiser's Edge NXT data requests for campaigns.
• Perform routine data maintenance and quality tasks.
• Create and maintain queries, exports, and constituent groups.
• Apply and maintain constituent coding structures and preferences.
• Support data imports/exports between RENXT and third-party platforms.
• Maintain documentation for database processes and workflows.
• Identify data discrepancies and communicate findings to leadership.
• Prepare and distribute data files for fundraising campaigns.
