Job summary

ConGlobal is seeking a Railyard Operations Manager to lead day-to-day railyard activities with a strong emphasis on safety, efficiency, and productivity. You will coordinate railcar movements, verify train numbers, and coach ramp crews in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in railyard or related operations.
• Strong safety record with documented observations.
• Proven ability to delegate tasks and hold teams accountable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily railyard operations with emphasis on safety, performance, and productivity.
• Coordinate and prepare railcars for loading/unloading.
• Verify inbound/outbound train numbers for accuracy and compliance.
• Direct ramp crew movements to maintain timely operations.
• Identify operational challenges and implement solutions for continuous workflow.
• Enforce safety regulations and coach staff as needed.
• Monitor LPH performance and drive efficiency targets.
• Oversee staff scheduling and shift coordination.
• Perform administrative duties and maintain clear team communication.
