Union Pacific Railroad in the United States is seeking an Assistant Signal Worker to assist with installation, repair, and upkeep of railroad signaling and crossing warning systems across North America.

The role involves inspecting signal circuitry, assembling equipment, and maintaining systems while traveling within the designated territory. A valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the ability to supervise others are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test signal circuits and equipment for issues.
• Assemble/disassemble signal gear and perform repairs.
• Install, maintain and replace signal systems and components.
• Use tools and machinery and keep work areas clean.
• Operate company vehicles and travel across territory.
• Be proactive and take ownership of tasks.
• Foster positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Follow safety, FRA regulations and company guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as required.
