Qualifications

• Able to work now and in the future without sponsorship.
• At least 18 years old by the start date.
• Able to report for duty at the designated work location.
• Able to work safely in the described conditions and shifts.
• Able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
• Able to identify signals and judge speed/distance.
• Able to climb ladders and work at heights.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Communicate information via devices, monitor daily work, and assist with hand brakes and signaling.
• Operate track switches and derails to change train routing.
• Inspect trains and equipment per federal regulations.
• Monitor track conditions and report passing train status.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment under extreme weather and noisy conditions.
