Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years' railroad experience, maintenance of way preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to travel 50–85% of the time.
• Ability to complete employer and client training.

Responsibilities

• A safety-focused railroad-approved contractor overseeing worksite safety and flagging as needed.
• Conduct job briefings and ensure FRA 49 CFR 214 compliance during track work.
• Monitor track conditions, approach trains, and keep personnel clear of active tracks.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, engineers, and supervisors to authorize train movements.
• Document all activities and submit reports to management and regulators.
• Enforce Railroad, State, and Federal policies.
