Qualifications

• Ability to work 24/7 on-call shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel within designated seniority region and to train locations.

Responsibilities

• Communication responsibilities include receiving and acting on information via devices, monitoring daily work, and reporting.
• Switching functions involve operating track switches and derails to change train routing.
• Train and equipment inspections include determining train make-up and inspecting cars per federal regulations.
• Work is performed in a safety-sensitive environment with varied weather, loud noises, and heavy equipment.
