Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in safety-sensitive environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Comply with railroad safety and operational regulations.
• Follow trainer or supervisor instructions.
• Coordinate train or railcar movement using signals or radio.
• Operate track switches to determine train routes.
• Plan and complete work safely and efficiently.
• Climb on/off equipment and inspect train for safety.
• Connect air hoses and electrical components between locomotives or railcars.
• Use basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
