Genesee & Wyoming Railroad Services, Inc. (GRSI) in Worcester, MA, is seeking a Field Operations Manager to lead railroad bridge engineering across designated territory, including inspections, rehabilitation, and contractor guidance.

The role requires expertise in bridge analysis, site visits, and compliance with FRA standards. The position emphasizes project planning, bid package development, and emergency responsiveness, with a commitment to safety and operational excellence within a legacy

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural engineering preferred, or related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) preferred, or related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Make bridge site visits, inspections, and surveys.
• Diagnose existing bridge problems and remedy issues.
• Develop project plans, sets, specifications, and bid packages.
• Understand and interpret FRA regulations, specifically FRA Bridge Safety Standards (49 CFR Part 237).
• Manage other projects and perform duties as assigned.
• Respond to emergency situations as needed.
