Job summary

Lunda Construction, a Tutor Perini Company, is hiring a Project Manager for our Railroad Division in Milwaukee, WI. You will oversee railroad, bridge, and heavy civil infrastructure projects from planning through execution, coordinating owners, subcontractors, and field staff.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of heavy civil PM experience, with travel across the Upper Midwest. Strong communication skills and team collaboration are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Ability to travel throughout the Upper Midwest is required.
• Five (5) or more years of relevant project management experience in Heavy Civil preferred.
• Railroad Bridge construction experience with railroad company coordination preferred.
• Ability to read and understand contract plans and specifications.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication is necessary.
• Ability to collaborate with personnel at all levels, both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in project planning, budgeting, and managing resources.
• Perform project accounting functions including cost tracking and cost projections.
• Ensure that construction operations progress according to schedule and communicate changes.
• Develop project work plans and convey to field staff.
• Monitor implementation and adjust as necessary.
• Communicate with owners, crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate with all project stakeholders including owner, architect, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Hold progress meetings with clients and stakeholders.
• Maintain project document controls and participate in site safety audits.
