Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent.
• Able to work in loud environments with moving machinery and outdoor weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare railcars, such as boxcars or hoppers, using tools like shovels, brooms, and pressure washers.
• Wash, inspect, and perform minor repairs on railcars or hoppers as needed.
• Learn, understand, and provide guidance on railcar inspection practices, including coatings, markings, and other components.
• Support daily operations by helping with customer needs, maintaining adequate supplies, and ensuring railcars are processed efficiently.
• Make sure the washed volume of railcars is adequate.
• Participate in training opportunities to build skills and stay current with role requirements.
• Assist with safely switching railcars into and out of the wash facility.
• Ability to work in tight or confined spaces.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
