Job summary

Paycom - ATS is hiring for a railcar transload operator in California. You will load railcars with ethanol, biodiesel, crude oil and other liquids, while learning all related processes and maintaining thorough documentation.

The role involves operating in a rail yard environment with safety training in OSHA/HAZWOPER/DOT, and tasks including preventive maintenance. A valid driver’s license is required; DOT certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with truck loading and unloading, rail tank car/ tanker loading helpful.
• DOT certification preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Load railcars with product using transload carts.
• Learn, maintain, and operate all railcar transload processes including maintenance, paperwork, and scheduling.
• Operate equipment, follow OSHA/HAZWOPER/DOT training requirements.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance tasks as directed.
