Job summary

Cando Rail & Terminals in Stockton, CA invites applications for a Railcar Loader/Supervisor role. You will work outdoors, ensure safe loading and unloading, and support switching teams to meet customer schedules.

The job requires teamwork, ability to read safety docs, physical fitness, and willingness to work day/night shifts in all weather. Compensation is hourly and ranges from $23.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• Able to work safely in a team environment.
• Capable of reading/writing safety documents and manuals.
• Physically fit for demanding tasks, climbing, lifting, and working at heights.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook daily.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety certifications (CROR).
• Willing to work day/night shifts in all weather, including holidays.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe operation of transloading equipment per rules and procedures.
• Makes all connections for each product transfer.
• Conducts daily inspection and testing of equipment and safety devices.
• Reports safety and equipment problems.
• Complies with operating rules and safety requirements.
• Completes daily reports and logs as needed.
• Supports switching teams as required.
• Promotes excellent customer service and a strong company image.
• Participates in training or company initiatives as required.
