Responsibilities

• Perform locomotive switching operations to move and position railcars.
• Couple and uncouple railcars, ensuring connections are secure and safe.
• Align, operate, and secure rail switches as needed.
• Communicate with locomotive operators and crew to coordinate movements.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.
• Maintain records of railcar movements and switching activities.
• Assist in troubleshooting switching or logistics issues.
• Work with internal teams to support production schedules and shipment deadlines.
