Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience as Carman or Railcar Repair Technician desirable.
• Ability to read safety rules, maintenance instructions and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Repair railcars and tank cars to FRA and AAR specs.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections of railcars.
• Follow safety protocols and quality program procedures.
• Keep work area clean and compliant with OSHA rules.
• Operate hand and power tools and welding equipment as required.
